If there’s a better prawn anywhere else in the world, I don’t know about it.

Yamba Wild is a NSW fishing business based at Yamba, northern NSW. It was established in 2017 and focuses on delivering high quality wild caught seafoods from NSW waters, with an emphasis on premium ocean king prawns.

The directors, David Saul and Steven Everson, bring together high levels of professionalism, in-depth industry knowledge and thought leadership. From the outset, Yamba Wild has been built on a foundation of business best practice. It has embraced the objectives of the NSW Commercial Fisheries Business Adjustment Program and the purpose of Sydney Fish Market (to unite people and the sea).

In the company’s short history, Yamba Wild has received recognition through one of its employees, Alexandra Tucker, as highly commended in the category of Young Achiever at the 2019 Seafood Excellence Awards. Another employee of Yamba Wild, Donald Anderson, plays an important role of mentoring new entrants to the NSW commercial fishing industry and is aided by his wealth of experience.

Yamba Wild’s crew and current fishing vessel (Little River) have also participated in various media campaigns to promote regional tourism and premium NSW seafoods.
